RENEE BOYD

ACUPUNCTURE/CHINESE MEDICINE BHSC (TCM), AACMA, AHPRA

Renee Boyd is a highly qualified and experienced acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine herbalist, dedicated to helping her clients achieve optimal health through personalised, evidence-based treatments. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, Renee focuses on treating the root cause of health concerns, offering long-term improvements in overall well-being through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, as well as diet and lifestyle support.

Renee is deeply passionate about women’s health and fertility, providing care from menarche through to menopause. Her expertise includes managing menstrual issues such as endometriosis and PCOS, alongside comprehensive preconception care. She brings extensive experience in addressing both male and female infertility, including challenges such as unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriages, hormonal imbalances, thin uterine lining, and poor sperm quality. Her holistic approach is especially beneficial for those undergoing ART/IVF/IUI treatments, as she designs comprehensive fertility and pregnancy support programs tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Renee also offers specialised care throughout pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum recovery, ensuring her clients receive personalised support at every stage. Acupuncture plays a key role in birth preparation, with clinical studies showing that regular treatments in the final month of pregnancy can lead to shorter labour times and fewer medical interventions.

Renee’s practice is rooted in the principles of integrative medicine. She frequently collaborates with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care for her clients. Beyond fertility and women’s health, her areas of expertise include treating insomnia, digestive health, chronic pain, skin conditions, emotional well-being, and stress-related disorders. She is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, a specialised program designed to soften lines, lift sagging skin, and promote collagen and elastin production for a natural, youthful appearance.

Renee holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Technology Sydney, where she earned top honours in Chinese Herbal Medicine and received the Dean’s Merit Award each year. She continues to expand her knowledge through postgraduate studies, particularly in women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy support. Renee is a registered member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
