There’s only one week left until Christmas and if you’re looking for something to serve for dessert after a big meal, look no further! This chocolate mousse recipe created by our receptionist Amanda is so rich and tasty your guests won’t know it’s healthy! Featuring banana and avocado as the main ingredients, it’s full of good nourishing fats and won’t leave you on that sugary high that regular chocolate mousse does. And if you’ve got little ones at your Christmas lunch you can rest assured it’s a dessert that’s good for them, and we can guarantee they won’t even know it’s made with avocado!
Served with fresh berries and coconut flakes, it’s the perfect way to end Christmas lunch or dinner.
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp carob powder
1 tbsp rice malt syrup
A pinch of salt, cinnamon & nutmeg
Place all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender.
Spoon into glasses and place into the fridge to chill for a few hours until set.
When ready to serve, top with coconut flakes and berries.
This recipe serves 2 so simply double or triple ingredients to serve all your guests.
